This is what’s left of a man’s Toyota Prius after a failed pass attempt turned into a horrific crash in Ionia Township, Michigan.
The driver of the Prius, a 46-year-old man from Indiana, attempted to pass a vehicle while traveling southbound on North State Road in Ionia, and ended up crossing into oncoming traffic and colliding head-on with a semi truck.
The semi truck was driven by a 45-year-old woman from California, who’s vehicle was also severely damaged.
The incident occurred on Sunday June 28th, around 10:45 in the morning.
According to MLive.com, the man behind the wheel of the Prius suffered non-life-threatening injuries, but was ticketed after the crash for committing a traffic violation.
The condition of the truck driver has not been made public.
