Missing Truck Driver Found Dead In Sam’s Club Parking Lot

On Tuesday, September 29th, a missing truck driver was found dead inside the cab of his semi truck in a Sam’s Club Parking lot in Idaho Falls, Idaho.

Officers believe that 57-year-old David W. Fadness passed away of natural causes after dropping off a delivery at the Sam’s Club on Sunday, September 27th.

The company he worked for, National Logistics LLC., said they were not able to contact him since Sunday.

His body was discovered less than 24 hours after the Missing Truck Driver Alert Network issued an alert about the missing driver, which was shared nearly 2,000 times on Facebook and picked up by several news agencies and online trucking communities.

According to East Idaho News, Fadness’s dog was found alive inside the truck and was rescued by animal control officers.

An autopsy is scheduled to determined his cause of death.
