Mercedes Driver Arrested After Trying To Pass Semi On The Right

A man in Costa Mesa, California, was arrested on Saturday, after trying to pass a semi truck that was making a right turn.

According to the OC Register, the truck was making a turn onto 17th street, when the 59-year-old Mercedes driver attempted to squeeze past it on the right side. The car ended up getting lodged underneath the trailer.

The driver of the car, 59-year-old Brian Elden, was arrested for suspicion of DUI.

Neither driver was injured.

The Mercedes, however, was significantly damaged in the crash.
