Police are looking for a man who impersonated a police officer and stole from a truck driver at the TA Travel Center off Interstate 30 in Rockwall, Texas.
According to Fox-4, the suspect approached two truck driver at the TA Travel Center and told them he was a narcotics officer before requesting to search their trucks. One of the drivers refused, but the second target allowed the man in his vehicle.
When the driver got suspicious, the suspect pushed him out the way and fled with his wallet.
The suspect was wearing a black baseball cap with the word “Police” on it. They described him as a 30-year-old black male, roughly 6-feet-tall and 200 pounds.
He fled the scene in a gold Nissan Sentra. Rockwall Police are currently looking for the suspect and they’re asking anyone with information to call (972) 771-7721.
