A semi truck hauling an enormous jet blew a tire in Massachusetts on Wednesday.
The incident occurred on October 10th on Interstate 495 in Bolton, Massachusetts.
According to WHDH News, the tractor trailer was hauling the Trans World Air Lines plane when it suddenly blew a tire, forcing the trucker to pull over into the breakdown lane on I-495 south.
The two other rigs hauling the plane’s wings and engines also stopped in the breakdown lane as crews worked to replace the blown tire.
The incident did not hinder traffic and it is said the airplane is being transported to New York, where it will be part of a hotel at the John F. Kennedy airport.
