Studies have shown that a majority of car-truck crashes are caused by car drivers. In many instances, a sudden, unexpected turn or lane change is the cause of the crash.
One Indiana State Trooper recently posted a video on Facebook that’s going viral, explaining a “pretty incredible” safety feature that isn’t used enough these days.
“It may require that you put down your coffee or your cell phone or whatever you have in your hands,” trooper John Pierrine says in the clip. “It’s not only the right thing to do, but it’s the courteous thing to do.”
