A FedEx driver pulled over on the I-70 near the London, Ohio, just one exit shy of his destination, earlier this week after experiencing mechanical issues with his semi truck. The driver, Douglas Griffin, exited the truck to inspect it, and was joined by another FedEx driver, Michael West, that came to help.
This was when both drivers were hit by an unknown vehicle, which then fled the scene heading east on I-70.
Griffin was killed as a result, and the second FedEx driver, Michael West, was seriously injured. According to NBC4 News, Griffin had reflectors out and his hazard lights on.
