Here’s a quick look at the type of events that truck drivers sees on a regular basis.
This clip, of a four wheeler losing control on a snowy highway in South Dakota was recently sent to us by trucking vlogger Trucker Rudi.
“I had quite a close call today when a car wiped out right in front of me,” he wrote. “He was going to pass me, and he went and hit the ditch.”
The clip shows a white SUV wiping out after drifting in front of Rudi’s semi truck in the right lane, before sliding into the side off the highway. According to the trucker’s commentary, the driver was able to make it back on the road after the incident. Despite being a close call, no one was injured.
“We do see these kinds of things once in a while, and usually it’s caused because somebody’s in a hurry,” he added.
