The California Highway Patrol (CHP) is asking drivers to inspect their vehicles following a dump truck vs. overpass strike in Santa Cruz County.
The crash took place in the early morning hours of Monday, August 26, on northbound Highway 1.
CHP’s Santa Cruz Division said that a “a dump truck collided with the Freedom Blvd. overcross.”
No injuries were reported.
Highway 1 was closed for four hours, resulting in a “heavy traffic jam.”
