A truck driver at the Loves Truck Stop off Interstate 77 in Cana, Virginia was resting in his rig when he noticed another semi driving by with a very hot load…because its right side trailer tandems were on fire.
Apparently, the driver was unaware that his truck was on fire and pulled up to the truck stop store. The driver who recorded the incident on his dash cam posted the video on Facebook, with the following caption:
Well this was a rude awakening. Just laid down to sleep when I saw a truck come in the truck stop with the right side trailer tandems on fire. This idiot stopped right in front of my truck. Then he pulled further up and stopped beside the shop. Video recorded with my Dashcam. I was getting out of the truck to try and stop him. But he stopped beside the shop, before I could get dressed. It doesn’t appear that anyone was injured in the incident, but it was definitely enough to disturb this driver’s sleep.
