The truck driver that was involved in the crash that killed one man and injured comedian Tracy Morgan has been under a lot media scrutiny recently and much has been made of his social media activities.
A questionable twitter profile was linked to the driver, Kevin Roper, and the account was promptly made private.
However, several tweets from the same profile have been revealed, allegedly showing his thoughts on the incident. One of the tweets alludes that the allegations of Roper being awake for 24 hours might be inaccurate: “Not until all the TV cameras came did the police all of sudden make a determination I was up 24 hours”.
The account also tweets that the entire incident was just a normal accident and is being blown out of proportion by the media because a celebrity was involved.
Even though the Twitter account bears his name and other personal information, Roper has never confirmed that the account in question is his.
Walmart has stated that Roper was not active on any social media platforms, however some people that know the driver have confirmed the account to be his.
