Multiple agencies partnered to rescue a truck driver following a crash and cargo spill in Robeline, Louisiana, early Monday morning.
Shortly after 3 a.m. on January 5, 2026, the Natchitoches Parish Sheriff’s Office and other agencies responded to reports of an overturned commercial vehicle hauling lumber on Louisiana Highway 6 West within the Town of Robeline.

Police were advised that the driver of the truck was possibly trapped in the wreckage.

Firefighters and first responders utilized extrication equipment to free the driver, who suffered only minor injuries and declined transport to a hospital.

The cause of the crash is under investigation by the Robeline Police Department.
