Have you ever caught yourself in the attention of some pugnacious fellow induced in a fit of road rage? Perhaps they’re at your window trying to bark in your face. This guy in a pick up truck has the perfect defense for that.
One driver is pissed that he needs to wait behind a pick up in traffic. He tries to get out to confront the other driver but traffic starts moving, if only for a few feet. Traffic stops again and the man sees his chance to play tough guy to the driver in the pick up.
He walks up to knock on the window of the pick up but wasn’t expecting to have a face full of dog saliva. The man tried to make his point, but to no avail as the dog would keep him quiet.
You could say he was barking up the wrong tree.
