A YouTuber captured an odd situation earlier this week, of a driver-less semi truck rolling down a busy street in Manhattan, New York.
In the clip, several bystanders attempt to stop the rig with their bare hands as it rolls down the road, until a quick thinking driver swoops in front of the runaway semi and stops it with his box truck.
The video’s description doesn’t help clarify the situation at all. In fact, it makes things even more confusing:
“A semi truck was rolling down the street with no driver. Witnesses said he just jumped out and ran . Civilian’s quick thinking helped stop this truck.”
No one appears to have been injured in the incident.
