Doug Scholten’s Custom Peterbilt “Gold Digger”

During April’s Pride & Polish Truck Show at the 75 Chrome Shop, Doug Scholten, of Rabbit River Transport, and his “Gold Digger” made their way into Ocala, Florida, after making an overnight delivery.

Chris Fiffie’s BigRigVideos.com got a chance to catch up with him for a great CB interview.

This 1986 Pete’ has is powered by a Cat 425B with 600 horses and a 15 speed transmission. It pulls a 2001 48ft spread utility reefer trailer.

Doug gets to ride this baby all across the country delivering Boar’s Head products, allowing him to show off his custom paint job of Cadillac Pearl and Las Vegas Gold. The interior sports a wooden floor and leather seats with the dash pulled out.
