A trucker’s skillful maneuvering prevented a serious collision on Interstate 44 earlier this month after a sedan was caught on film losing control and cutting off his rig twice in a matter of seconds.
The video was filmed on I-44 eastbound outside of Sullivan, Missouri earlier this month, and uploaded by YouTube user ‘TMobile Taco King’
“This driver wasn’t paying attention when we nearly collided twice before they waved at me and took off,” he wrote.
In the clip, a maroon sedan can be seen slowly drifting into the left lane, forcing the trucker to suddenly hit his brakes.
The motorist then loses control and swerves in front of the semi, but the trucker is able to keep his rig under control and avoid contact with the car once again.
After the near-collision, the trucker stops on the side of the road, awaiting the motorist, but the motorist simply waves at the trucker before continuing on.
“Yes, trucker’s have dash cams,” the driver added.
