Troopers with the California Highway Patrol (CHP) found themselves “making the best out of a crappy situation” following a sewage truck crash.
CHP’s Yreka Division said on September 24 that the single vehicle crash happened recently on SR-96 near Horse Creek.
“Upon arriving on scene, it was quickly made apparent what they were dealing with. A big rig hauling sewage had rolled over, partially spilling its load,” state troopers said.
Fortunately, the truck driver only suffered minor injuries.
“Thank you to Caltrans and our tow operators for making a swift cleanup and minimizing any further hazmat exposure! CHP said.
