A procession of 72 tow trucks filled the streets and ears of Tiffin, Ohio and its citizens Thursday as a tribute to Joe Keller, co-owner of local business “John’s Towing and Welding” for nearly 30 years.
Keller, who passed away at 51 years old on Saturday, was beloved along Seneca County roads and a valued member of the community. Keller had been struggling with an immune system deficiency for several decades and had experienced a decline in health in the last year and a half.
“He told us he wanted as many tow trucks as Tiffin could holdm” said Jason Keller, son of Joe Keller.
“And he wanted it loud,” Jason added.
As per his final wishes, Joe’s casket was loaded onto one of his tow trucks and escorted from the funeral home by the entire Seneca County tow truck community, engines roaring and horns blaring.
