40 tons of spilled chicken guts force highway shut down

40 tons of spilled chicken guts forced the closure of a major roadway in England Thursday.

The accident occurred on October 18th in Nottinghamshire, England.

According to Fox News, the semi truck hauling 40 tons of chicken guts was traveling on Highway A453 when the big rig began leaking its load, spilling chicken remains all along the roadway.

The incident forced the closure of A453 between M1, A50, A6 and the A2.

The area was shut down for several hours as crews worked to clear the mess.
