Washtenaw County Sheriff’s office has warned truck drivers to keep their doors locked when they’re sleeping in their cab.
According to ABC-7, 12 truck drivers were robbed in the last month while sleeping in their trucks at the TA truck stop and Pilot Travel Center off Baker Road in Scio Township, Michigan.
The suspect has not been identified and is still on the loose. Witnesses described her as a black female in her 40s, about 5’6″ tall and 140 pounds.
The Sheriff’s office has released a photo, which can been seen above, and is asking for help to identify her. They’re asking the public to report any information by calling 1(800)SPEAK-UP.
