This footage, filmed by a motorcyclist, captured the moments when a car nearly collided with three vehicles on the road.
The video was uploaded by YouTuber Squid Rider on June 19th.
In the footage, a busy road is seen in the perspective of the motorcyclist. A semi truck is seen in the lane to the left of the motorcycle. Another motorcycle is driving in front of the one filming. The semi, a littler further ahead than the motorcycle, is stopped at red light.
As the motorcycle approaches the red light, it turns green, so he continues. As the motorcycle in front of him reaches the intersection, a car traveling the opposite direction attempts to take a turn…directly into the path of the oncoming vehicles. The first motorcycle somehow maneuvers his way around the car.
According to the YouTuber’s commentary, as (he) the second motorcycle continued into the intersection, he:
“rev-bombed for the motorcycle in front of me to get the car’s attention.”
He continued:
“Instead of stopping, (and getting rear-ended) I tried to get out of the way to give the car a gap to move out of the semi’s path before the car got hit head-on by a semi truck.”
The car is seen zooming past, headed in the path of the semi truck, where he narrowly escaped a crash.
The video is a shocking look at how many drivers are simply not paying attention.
As quoted at the end of the video:
“How do you not see a semi truck, a cruiser with underglow and my CBR?”
Drive carefully. You never know what you’ll come across…
