
Police are on the search for the tractor trailer that sent two tires crashing into a police car in Sturbridge, Massachusetts.
It happened on Monday, July 31st on Interstate 84 at approximately 5:35 a.m.
According to the Massachusetts State Police, a state trooper’s car was parked in a roadside construction zone when a passing tractor trailer lost two tires. The tires then flew off of the truck and landed on the back of the police car.
The truck was traveling eastbound and did not stop at the scene.
The Massachusetts State Police are conducting an investigation of the incident and are asking anyone who witnessed the accident, or anyone who may have seen a semi truck driving on I-84 missing two wheels to call Trooper Scott Shea of the State Police Sturbridge Barracks at (508) 347-3352.
