A hero truck driver was able to save a runaway baby in Seattle.

The child’s mother was walking the baby in a stroller but stopped to greet friends that she spotted on the street.

However, the only problem was she forgot to put on the wheel locks on the stroller and the baby, in his stroller, rocketed down hill in the middle of the road, crossing a busy intersection.

Luckily, a garbage truck driver saw the event unfold in front of him and quickly sped up to block the intersection while honking his horn to alert oncoming traffic.

The driver stopped in the middle of the intersection and jumped out of his truck and chased after the runaway stroller.

His honking also stopped an alerted an oncoming UPS truck that would not have been able to see the baby, preventing a potential tragedy.

Once he reached the stroller, the child had a big smile on his face and seemed to have enjoyed the ride.

Much respect to this driver, for not just keeping the neighborhood clean, but saving a life while he’s at it.
