A truck driver posted this footage online, showing a multi-vehicle wreck on Interstate 80 in Iowa that could have turned into another large pileup. But thanks to several warnings from fellow truck drivers, a potential (larger) disaster was averted.
The clip was uploaded by YouTube user Julie Morgan. It took place on Interstate 80 in Iowa, around mile marker 53.
In the footage, Morgan approaches a multi-vehicle crash in very low visibility, but is able to stop in the nick of time. She warns others on the CB radio, but says she braced herself to be rear-ended.
Thankfully her CB warnings, as well as warnings from several others behind her, helped drivers safely navigate the crash scene despite the road conditions.
