An 11-year-old boy backs up a semi truck and then drives off in a recent clip that was uploaded to the Speed Society Facebook page.
The clip was shared over 50,000 times, and viewed over 3,000,000 times, in less than 24 hours.
A majority of the commenters praised the young boy for his abilities, with many truck drivers mentioning they experienced a similar upbringing.
Some commenters weren’t as excited about the video however, and mentioned that we’re not in the “old days” anymore, “You know that is fine but when DOT see this they can shut the company down for braking all the rules and I have seen them do it. It called in danger to a child. Back in the old days you could do that no one cared.” said one driver.
