Record rainfall and massive flooding effectively shut down portions of South Carolina over the weekend, but one truck driver refused to let it stop him.
YouTuber Charlton Mcleod recorded this clip of a semi truck plowing through a flooded stretch of Highway 15. With rain water up to the hood of the truck, his family looks on in amazement.
“If he makes it, I give him all the credit in the world” a woman on camera can be heard saying.
Amazingly, the truck driver makes it through the lake-like conditions and finds his way to dry land.
A child in the car calls the driver a “big and bad” trucker for trying and attempting such a feat.
