A clip of a truck driver chasing after his runaway vehicle was recently posted online and has gone viral on social media.
The footage was taken near the A50 motorway in the Netherlands and uploaded by Facebook user Mohammed Zahir.
In the clip, the driver is seen running down the highway ramp, towards the driverless truck. Unable to reach the truck in time, it makes its way onto the highway and strikes the median barrier before continuing to roll on.
It doesn’t appear that there were any injuries. But a loss of job? Probable. And embarrassment in front of millions around the world? Definite.
