Volvo Trucks North America let a toddler unveil it’s new VNL model and set a new world record all in the same video.

The video was released on Youtube on Tuesday, July 11th, and featured Joel, a 3-year-old boy, opening the “Largest Object Unboxed.”

Volvo put one of their brand new VNL 760 semi trucks inside an 80x14x18 foot box made from cardboard and cellophane, built it to “Guinness World Record” specifications, and made it easy enough for Joel to open.

“What was most rewarding for me was seeing Joel become so excited seeing the new Volvo VNL 760 revealed when he opened the box,” said Magnus Koeck, spokesman for Volvo.

The toddler opened the box and climbed inside the truck, exploring the cab and even a fridge stocked especially for him.

An unnamed truck driver climbed into the cab and inched the rig out of the enormous box. This checked off the last specification for the “Largest Item Unboxed,” removing the item from the box without destroying it.

The crew was given a plaque to celebrate their accomplishment.

“Setting a Guinness World Records title was truly remarkable,” added Koeck.

“I’ll drive myself,” said the 3-year-old to the trucker as they drove off into the evening.
