Footage of a beer-truck driver attempting a tight turn ended in a big mess Friday after his load shifted, spilling the contents of the trailer.
The incident happened on October 12th in Paarden Eiland in Cape Town, South Africa.
In the clip, a truck with tarped sides can be sign trying to turn around on a narrow street. After a few tries, the load of beer bottles finally shifts, first spilling a few cases before eventually spilling what appears to be almost the entire load of beer onto the ground.
South African Breweries says that the driver in the video is an independent contractor and that the spilled beer is simply an “unfortunate error,” reported News 24.
Although the company would not disclose how much merchandise was lost in the accident, South African Breweries director of communications says that the company has taken the “necessary corrective measures” to ensure this sort of thing does not happen again.
