You know, when kids are young and they get that question “what do you want to be when you grow up?” most kids would say something along the lines of being a fire fighter or an astronaut or a lion (according to Kids Say the Darnest things).
But one kid, 4-year-old Carson, has something more practical, and a little different, in mind.
Carson loves trucks, but most of all, he loves UPS trucks. Mr. Ernie is the UPS delivery man for that area and Carson’s friend.
He visits Carson on a weekly basis, delivering special milk. Carson became infatuated with the UPS truck and wanted to be a UPS driver and do deliveries just like Ernie. So much so that he even has his own little UPS uniform, hat and boots and everything.
One day, Ernie was making his routine delivery when he brought Carson to the back of his truck for a surprise.
In the truck was Carson’s very own mini UPS truck. Carson could barely contain his excitement. He wastes no time making “deliveries” to the neighborhood, bringing a smile to everyone’s faces.
Carson’s a special kid with a special bond with Ernie. Just goes to show that friendship comes in all sizes and ages.
