A trucker told police he was eating a taco when he lost control of his rig, spilling a load of bark.

It happened on Wednesday, October 18 at approximately 12:00 p.m. in Blewett Pass, Washington.

According to KOMO News, the truck driver was traveling through Blewett Pass on Highway 97 when he “became distracted while trying to eat a taco”, causing him to lose control of the rig.

The semi truck then went off the highway and ended up in a roadside ditch, scattering the load of bark along the roadway.

No injuries were reported in the crash.

Two lanes of Highway 97 were blocked as crews worked to right the truck and clear the road of bark.

The lanes have since been reopened.

The identity of the truck driver has not been released.
