A box truck driver got stuck underneath a bridge on Thursday while operating an unfamiliar vehicle on a road he says he frequents in his usual truck.

The accident happened on December 21st at approximately 8:59 a.m. in Radnor Township, Pennsylvania.

Police say the box truck was traveling north on King of Prussia Road when it struck the I-beam of the 10 foot 10 inch bridge, crushing the 12 foot tall trailer and wedging the rig sideways beneath the overpass.

No injuries were reported in the incident, but King of Prussia Road had to be shut down at the bridge while crews worked to remove the truck from the road. It reopened around 12:30 p.m., reported The Radnor Patch.

The truck driver, who’s name has not been released, told police that he drives his usual truck on King of Prussia Road fairly often, but that it was out of service, and that he was not aware of the height difference between the two vehicles.
