This video was recently sent to us by reader Christopher Esprit, showing a situation that could happen to anyone.
A truck driver for Swift Transportation was leaving a parking lot in Grand Prairie, Texas, and drove over a curb, destroying a metal pole and spilling boulder-sized rocks onto the road.
After being approached, the driver of the truck says she doesn’t have much experience on the road and says she didn’t “cut it wide enough” while trying to leave the lot.
We decided to share the video strictly for educational purposes, as it’s sometimes better to learn through other’s mistakes. Hopefully watching this will prevent other professional drivers from making similar blunders.
