Police are on the search for two men who shot and robbed a trucker outside of a warehouse on Wednesday morning.

It happened on August 23rd at approximately 1:50 a.m. in Cleveland, Ohio.

According to local Fox-8 news, a truck driver employed at Gateway Warehouses called police after being shot during an attempted robbery with two suspects.

The trucker told police that he was getting into the cab of his truck when two men came up to him. The men demanded the trucker’s wallet and the trucker refused. The two robbers then shot the trucker in the leg and fled the scene.

When police arrived, the truck driver was bleeding profusely from his wounded leg, forcing officers to apply a tourniquet to the wound while they awaited an ambulance.

The driver was taken to a nearby hospital. His condition is not known.

It is not clear what the robbers stole from the driver.

The identity of the driver has not yet been released.
