A truck driver was pinned inside of her cab for nearly an hour after her rig overturned and became pinned against a tree.

The rescue occurred on Wednesday, October 25th outside of Knoxville, Tennessee.

According to the Knoxville Police Department, 26-year-old Nashlie Coley was driving a tractor trailer hauling bread products south on Pleasant Ridge Road when the truck went off the right side of the road, reported Local 8 Now.

Coley managed to momentarily get the truck back onto the road, but soon lost control again, and the truck flipped, detaching the shipping container from the trailer and crushing the cab against a tree-lined embankment.

Coley was trapped inside of the cab for almost an hour as the fire department worked to extricate her from the wrecked rig. She was then transported to a nearby hospital, where she is being treated for multiple injuries.

Her current condition is not known.

Pleasant Ridge Road has been shut down as crews clean up the wreckage. According to WBIR, it is expected to remain closed until approximately 6 p.m. on Wednesday evening.
