Police in Lufkin, Texas, are looking for the driver of an 18-wheeler that lost control on a narrow road, nearly hitting two officers and a motorist.
The incident occurred on Southwood Drive, around 9:30 a.m. on Monday, when officers stopped to assist a stranded motorist.
Officers say the semi truck approached them at a high rate of speed, and immediately braked upon seeing them. The sudden braking caused the truck’s trailer to swing towards the men.
The three men jumped into nearby bushes to take cover. According to NewsWest9.com, they suffered minor bruises and cuts from the incident.
The truck driver did not stop after the incident.
On Tuesday afternoon the Lufkin Police Department released a dash cam video of the incident, and asked the public to help identify the driver.
