A truck driver was arrested after police found more than 20 fraudulent credit cards inside his rig during an inspection.
It happened on Saturday, October 28th, on Interstate 70 in Morgan County, Indiana.
According to the Indiana State Patrol, 63-year-old truck driver Azat Toufekchian was transporting fresh produce from California to Boston, when police stopped his Kenworth tractor trailer for a roadside inspection.
Upon speaking with Toufekchian, the State Trooper noticed “several indicators of possible criminal activity” and conducted a search of the inside of the truck.
The police report indicates that 23 fraudulent credit cards and gift cards were found. The cards were created using stolen personal banking information of several victims. Toufekchian was then arrested and taken to the Morgan County Jail.
