
Interstate 110 was closed on Friday morning after a tractor trailer flipped over on the highway median, sending debris flying across both sides of the highway.
It happened around 9 a.m. on Interstate 110 in Baton Rouge, Louisiana.
The accident closed both sides of I-110 and caused significant backups in the area. The impact also caused diesel fuel to spill from the semi truck.

The exact condition of the driver is not known but he is not believed to have sustained serious injuries. The cause of the crash is still under investigation.
As of 11:54 a.m. on Friday, crews were still working to clear the debris.
Update (2:21 p.m.):
The accident has been completely cleared and the highway reopened in both directions.
