A truck hauling a massive 250-ton turbine made its way to Rome, Georgia from North Carolina on Thursday evening, creating a spectacle as it rode though metro Atlanta roads.

It’s not often you see a 266-foot-long piece of equipment being transported during rush hour traffic, after all.

The Georgia Department of Transportation called it a “mega load” and issued public warnings, asking drivers to avoid I-285 if possible. The truck traveled at a max speed of 45 miles-per-hour, accompanied by rolling lane closures.

The load made it’s to it’s destination without any issues. Several onlookers snapped photos and videos as the massive structure passed by.
