The pursuit and arrest of a semi truck thief was captured on camera by a Texas Sheriff over the weekend.
It happened on August 12th in Smith County, Texas.
According to KLTV, a tractor trailer was stolen from a tire business on North Northwest Loop 323 on Saturday afternoon. Smith County Sheriff’s deputies responded to the call and pursued the stolen tractor trailer until they were able to overtake the semi truck, catching the pursuit on their dash cam.
Once the suspect was out of the the big rig, officers instructed the man to get on the ground before making the arrest.
The 38-year-old man was arrested and taken to the Smith County Jail. He will be charged for stealing the tractor trailer.
The identity of the man has not yet been released.
