A teenage driver was cited for careless driving last week after pulling in front of a moving tractor trailer and causing a crash involving 3 vehicles.
It happened on Tuesday, September 26th at approximately 3:14 p.m. in Raritan Township, New Jersey.
According to NJ.com, a 17-year-old woman in a yellow 2004 Nissan Xterra SUV approached a stop sign at the Minneakoning and River Road intersection. She then turned left onto River Road, just as an oncoming tractor trailer was approaching.
The tractor trailer then struck the Xterra, pushing it into a silver SUV that was waiting to turn left onto Minneakoning road.
The drivers in both SUVs, as well as a passenger in the silver SUV, were taken to a nearby hospital with minor injuries.
A life flight helicopter also responded, but it is not clear whether anyone was airlifted to the hospital.
The identities of the people involved, as well as the condition of the truck driver, were not released.
