Dallas, Texas-based trucking company Stevens Transport recently published a post on their Facebook page that caused quite the uproar in the trucking community.
The image, posted on June 26th, shows a company truck with the caption “Don’t stop when you are tired. Stop when you are done!”
Considering the major regulatory push in the industry to eliminate tired truckers from the road, coupled with the fact that many drivers complain of being forced to drive while tired — this is the last thing any large trucking carrier should post on Facebook.
It doesn’t take a rocket scientist to figure it out, just a little common sense — but maybe that’s asking for too much.
I’m sure the regulators wouldn’t “like” this one.
