On Friday afternoon, a truck hauling scrap metal overturned after losing an axle while traveling on the Tappan Zee Bridge in New York.
The owner of the video, YouTube user Hypotenuse, uploaded the video with the following caption:
“My husband experienced this horrible accident on Tappan Zee Bridge on 5/13/2016. His dashcam recorded the scary moment. The rear wheels and axle hit his car before rolling forward. He is fine and is cool as always.”
The New York State police shared the following photo of the aftermath.
The video has been viewed more than a million times in just two days. Amazingly, no one was injured in the crash.
