Truck driver Steve McIntosh sent us this video showing a blown driver side steer tire chasing his rig, then rolling in between the axles of another oncoming rig.
McIntosh wrote the following description.

I had a blowout on my driver side steer tire going 65mph.
As the tire was passing me I had to slow down and get over a little faster than I wanted to so it would miss me as it went to the right. I was hoping it would come to rest safely on the right shoulder but the ghost Tire decided to take a left. Watch what happens!
I thought it was going to cause some collateral damage but God is always looking out for me and apparently everyone around me. Had this tire rolled into me, it could have caused a crash. If this tire rolled under that trailer straight up it would have hit something and those cars would have been in trouble. This tire rolled under that trailer at the perfect angle and speed to make a safe landing in the median.
Thankfully, this situation which could have become dangerous only ended up as a cool YouTube video instead.
