A semi truck jackknifed on a mountain road in Colorado on Friday, leaving part of the rig hanging off of the roadway.

The accident happened on the morning of January 12th in Glenwood Springs, Colorado.

According to CBS Denver, the semi truck was traveling west on Interstate 70 when, for unknown reasons, the driver lost control, causing the big rig to jackknife and come to a stop with a portion of the cab hanging over the concrete barrier wall.

No one was hurt in the incident, but crews did spend several hours working to remove the tractor trailer from the road way with a heavy tow truck. The wreck was cleared by 1:15 p.m.

The Colorado Department of Transportation is warning drivers to use extra caution driving through the mountains, as snow is expected to fall in many areas today.
