A truck hauling chicken parts overturned Tuesday after the truck swerved to avoid a construction vehicle.
It happened on the Natcher Highway in Bowling Green, Kentucky at approximately 11 a.m. on Tuesday, July 11th.
According to the Bowling Green Daily News, the semi truck was driving south on the Natcher Highway when he entered a construction zone between exits 6 and 7. Upon entering the construction zone, the driver says he swerved to avoid a construction vehicle, causing the rig to flip and spill its load of chicken parts across the roadway.
The driver was not injured in the crash and was not issued any citations.
The spill shut down the highway for hours and it took crews until 8:30 p.m. to clean up the spilled load.
