Footage of a road-rage incident has emerged on YouTube and viewers are stunned.
YouTuber Tim uploaded the shocking video which captured the May 4th incident.
The video was caught on the YouTuber’s dash cam at the scene. The events unfolded at a traffic stop near the Hutton Street exit of the Mitchell Freeway in Perth, Australia.
A man wearing a black hooded sweatshirt walked over to the concrete truck on the left.
As he approached the truck, the driver and the man on foot appeared to be engaged in an argument.
Seconds later, the truck driver swung his door open and kicked the man in the face.
When the lights turned green, the road rage victim continued to argue and point at the driver.
He returned to his vehicle and the truck driver fled the scene.
According to WAtoday, Tim, who filmed the incident, said that he didn’t see what caused the initial confrontation. However, he saw that the man who got out of his car was a passenger riding in a hatchback.
Tim added that he thought it was likely that the quarrel was related to a driving incident.
Since releasing the footage, Tim has since posted a reply he received from the trucking company regarding the incident:
“Thanks Tim, The incident is being treated with the seriousness it deserves and is being thoroughly investigated. The driver reported the incident to police and we have been in contact with Police. The driver involved had been stood down pending the outcome of these investigations.”
YouTube commenters overwhelmingly agree that road-rage should never leave the confines of a car or become physical.
