Nearly 8,000 truck bodies have been recalled by Morgan Truck Body Corporation for an issue that affects the functionality of turn signals.

The recall applies to 7,634 truck bodies built between 2013 and 2018 and includes Kenworth, Freightliner, and Peterbilt chassis, as well as Isuzu, Mercedes, Chevrolet, GM, and Mitsubishi.

According to the National Highway and Traffic Safety Administration, the malfunction allows water into the wiring harness where is can damage or destroy the turn signals, leaving them inoperational.

Morgan began notifying owners of the affected models on Thursday, March 15th, and says that dealers will assist in replacing or modifying the wiring harnesses.
