Police say a big rig’s tire blowout was the cause of a fatal accident between the tractor trailer and a sedan on Monday afternoon.
It happened on August 14th at approximately 1:12 p.m. on Interstate 20 in Callahan County, Texas.
According to KTXS news, the tractor trailer was driving west on I-20 near exit 315 when its right front tire blew out. The blowout caused the truck to jackknife and crash through the median, sending the semi truck skidding into a BMW driving in the eastbound lanes.
