Oklahoma police are on the search for two escaped inmates in a stolen black Peterbilt truck.
The two escaped on Tuesday, August 22rd in northwestern Oklahoma.
According to The Washington Post, 32-year-old Andrew Foy and 37-year-old Darren Walp were being transported to sheriff’s offices in Kansas and Wyoming to face charges for past offenses when they overpowered their guards and stole the transport van.
The van was found abandoned 13 miles from where Foy and Walp escaped in Orienta, Oklahoma along with a discarded empty transport guard’s belt. The guard claims he did not have a gun and that the two men did not take one from him but Major County Sheriff Steve Randolph said that officials are “not sure he was telling the truth.”
Officials believe the two men may be armed.
Foy and Walp then stole a dodge pickup from a nearby oil field.
The pair were last seen at a convenience store on August 23rd in the Oklahoma suburb of Sapulpa. They were traveling in a black 2007 Peterbilt semi truck stolen from El Reno, Oklahoma.

Both men have a history of nonviolent crimes but currently face charges of kidnapping, escape, robbery, unauthorized use of a motor vehicle, and assault and battery with the intent to commit a felony. Both men will be held under $1,000,000 bond.
Officials believe the pair could be heading to Delaware or Pennsylvania, where both men have ties.
If anyone has information about Walp, Foy, or any of the stolen vehicles, they are urged to call Major County Sheriff’s Office at (580)-227-4471.
